2024 year-in-review
We will present and reflect on our 2024 Implementation Plan, which has been our internal list of priorities and goals for advancing the work of COVES and the involvement of our Community. We’ll highlight a few accomplishments – and acknowledge where we continue to have room for improvement – while asking for input to find continued success in 2025 and beyond.
After reflecting on the COVES team’s year-in-review, we’ll break out into small group discussions to hear about your 2024 years-in-review:
- What did you accomplish?
- Where did you find success, whether small or large?
- Are certain plans from last year not yet achieved but perhaps still in sight for the year ahead?
- For new COVES members, what are you most eager to tackle in the next ~10 months? What questions are you hoping to answer, and how can you make the most of this amazing COVES Community?
While we are excited for this discussion-based call (which, due to the format and personal opinions shared, will not be recorded), we also know that a lot has happened over the past month that has been severely disruptive to our personal and professional lives, and we plan to hold time at the end of the hour to acknowledge our shared experiences and provide space for venting, commiseration, discussion, and support around the turbulent start to the year. We found the COVES Community to be incredibly supportive during the middle months of the 2020 pandemic when there was a lot of uncertainty, and hope to be able to lean on each other once again to find respite. Please join us during this time, or feel free to sign off and take a moment for yourself.
